The Head Swim Coach is responsible for coaching Bainbridge Island Swim Club student-athletes in competitive swimming techniques. This position directs a year-round USA Swimming program that provides a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment while developing teamwork, promoting sportsmanship, and encouraging athletes and coaches to achieve personal development.

Minimum of 5 years of coaching experience with a leadership role. Bachelor's degree or equivalent with comparable knowledge and abilities. Current CPR, AED and First Aid Certification, USA Swim Coach, Safe Sport and ASCA certifications.
Additional Salary Information: 12 step salary scale starting at $51,996 up to $79,892. Starting wage DOE and certifications.
About Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park and Recreation District
Since its inception in 1965, the Park District has grown substantially and provides a wide array of recreational opportunities for the island. As of 2014, the Park District operates and maintains over 1500 acres in parks, trails, and open space that is available to the community for both active and passive use.
