Job Description
Assumes responsibility for providing quality customer service to the student body, faculty, staff and the outside community when visiting the Reich Sports Center and Athletics facilities, in an effort to generate revenue for the University. Adheres to rules and regulations governing University, all conference affiliations, and the NCAA, including assisting in the education process extended to alumni and the community. Coverage of home events and some building oversight is required. Must be available nights and weekends. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.

Description of Key Responsibility: Hires, trains and supervises all student employees to ensure the effective daily operations of of the Reich Sports Center and Athletics facilities. Coordinates scheduling in an effort to ensure appropriate staff levels are maintained as well as ensure a quality experience at the Sports Center for students, members and other visitors to the facility. Coordinates the hiring of work-study students for the Department of Athletics amp; Recreation, including but not limited to, the Sports Center function and others as appropriate. Must be available nights and weekends for building oversight.

Description of Key Responsibility: Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all student payroll documentation. Oversees timecards for all student workers for the Sports Center and game management activities.

Description of Key Responsibility: Provides quality customer service to all internal and external visitors to the Sports Center facility, including members, faculty, staff and students. Takes initiative to resolve issues as necessary and appropriate. Coordinates daily workflow to ensure effective office operations. Establishes and maintains office procedures, systems and files as well as implements operational and fiscal policies. Provides administrative support to the Director. Handles highly sensitive information with confidentiality and tact.

Description of Key Responsibility: Processes and maintains all Sports Center membership applications on an on-line system to ensure the integrity of the database. Records and deposits money, records credit card transactions and balances payroll deductions. Assumes responsibility for processing, recording and depositing money for all transactions of the Pro Shop, the Hawks Café and external events. Reconciles all income on a daily basis.

Description of Key Responsibility: Maintains supplies for the Pro Shop and Hawks Café. Inventories equipment as necessary.

Varied. Supervisor is available on an “as-needed” basis to establish general objectives and to identify potential resources for assistance. Independent judgement is required to select and apply the most appropriate of available guidelines and procedures to achieve desired results.
