About UW-Parkside Athletics
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is proud to offer numerous graduate assistant positions for the 2022-23 academic year. The Parkside Athletics graduate assistants will gain valuable, hands on experience in Wisconsin’s NCAA Division II athletics department.The successful candidates will work a 10-month appointment for the 2022-23 academic year with the opportunity for renewal of a second year. Each graduate assistant will receive a full tuition waiver and an annual stipend of $7,500, paid monthly. These positions will remain open until filled. Anticipated start date for the positions will be August 1, with the potential for a mutually-agreed upon earlier start date and summer employment. Graduate assistants will complete other duties as assigned by the athletics department, including working hours in the Sports & Activity Center. To be eligible, students must be admitted to the in-person Master of Sport Management Program (MSSM) at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Appointments are contingent upon maintenance of minimum credit requirements and good standing in the MSSM program. Parkside Athletics and HKSM have collaborated on the graduate assistant program for four years, fo...stering success for the athletics department, sport management program, and, most importantly, the graduate students. Alumni of the program have gone on to successful careers in college athletics and in club/youth and professional sports, including North Dakota State, Indiana State, Colorado College, Stephen F. Austin, UW-Parkside, University of Illinois-Chicago, and Quincy.
