• Campus Recreation and Intramural Sports: oversees all aspects of the campus Intramural Sport Programs including, but not limited to:
• Supervise the organizational structure and implementation of Intramural and Club Sport programs for students.
• Update the Constitution & By Laws, Intramural Handbook of the program, and ensure that participants/teams adhere to set guidelines.
• Maintain current rules and regulations of all sports offered within the program.
• Plan, organize and coordinate facilities for use by the Intramural programs.
• Schedule various games, tournaments and events for all sports and single night activities.
• Distribute schedules; notify teams of playing times and changes as needed.
• Examine and maintain all Intramural equipment; order and repair as needed.
• Hire, supervise, and train all student employees needed to work as score keepers, timers, officials and supervisors;.
• Maintain injury reports and follow-up as needed.
• Provide supervision of events.
• Publicize events, provide for weekly team meetings and provide orientation and training for teams and or participants.
• Purchase and present awards to students, teams and tournament winners.
• Assist with maintenance of Webpages. Include current Intramural news, schedules, results and pictures.
• Work with Falcon Center staff on space reservation and utilization to ensure proper space for intramural/recreation activities is allotted
• Work with the Assistant Director and Falcon Center staff to purchase equipment/supplies/ set upas needed
• Assist/coordinate select team sports including captain’s meetings, registration, scheduling, regular season and playoffs.
• Manage intramural sports software systems for program registration, sport management, and participation data.
• In collaboration with the Budget Manager, coordinate purchases, collection of program fees, and maintenance of records and receipts.

• Club Sports Administrator: oversee and supervise all aspects of the club sports teams on campus.
• Provide administrative support to all club teams on campus.
• Supervise the organizational structure of club sports including determination of need, enforcement of policies and guidelines for becoming/remaining a club team on campus, and coordinating all required documentation from members of club teams.
• Assist in the marketing of club teams, including but not limited to creating and disseminating advertisement material, mass emails, and campus notices.
• Create all club sport documents and work with the assistant director of student life to ensure club sports are following all guidelines
• Work closely with each teams Student Leader to ensure all members meet Club Sports Eligibility requirements and guidelines, including verifying enrollment and GPA status.
• Gather and keep all required paperwork for members of club teams including all medical releases and code of conduct forms.
  University Mascot:
• Oversee the operations of the University Mascot and process for try-out and hire.
• Communicate with the public on behalf of the character. Prepare for creative, friendly responses to some of the most common questions, particularly by children.
• Must be focused and responsible for guiding the mascot in a variety of physical conditions to ensure the safety of the mascot, and those around the mascot.
• Be able to think quickly and look for opportunities to guide performers to best engage people and create a fun environment.
• Assisting performer with costume, navigation, hydration, and any other duties that will be difficult for the performer while in costume.
• Inventory the costume before and after the performance to make sure all of the costume parts are accounted for.
• Keep the performer on schedule, and monitor breaks for the performer.
• Provide on-call support during the evening/weekend hours for the student supervisor of the Falcon Center.

Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or Physical Education. Master’s degree is preferred.

Applicant must possess strong abilities in planning, organization, supervision, coordination, and communication. Knowledge of legal liabilities and safety issues associated with intramural programs required.
