The E-Ventures Director will oversee a new experiential technology program and initiative at Emporia State University. This position will coordinate with multiple academic units, university resources, and outside entities to incorporate practical technology projects into classroom experiences (high impact practices) using the Esports platform. The initial and primary focus of the E-Ventures Director will be development and implementation of an Esports initiative. The ideal individual should have an entrepreneurial mindset with focus on the startup and sustainability phases of new initiatives to ensure those projects can be successful and self-sustaining. The Director is a full-time, 12-month staff position that typically works 8am-5pm with some evening and weekend expectations.
