The Assistant Director Campus Recreation & Wellness Promotion– Fitness is responsible for directing a multi-faceted Fitness program on a daily basis. Duties & Essential Job Functions: 1. Administers the daily operation of the University Recreation Center weight room and fitness programming by the employment of staff, the scheduling of staff, payroll, and performance evaluation of employees; maintains a schedule of all group exercise, personal training, and wellness activities, scheduled within the facility; supervises the massage therapy program; coordinates wellness events; assures the safety of the weight room and cardio deck equipment in coordination with Housekeeping and Physical Plant; prepares and maintains the fitness budget.
