This position reports to the Assistant Director of Operations (#1383) and serves as a full time professional member of the USFSP Campus Recreation staff. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and provide leadership to the Fitness Center and Programs. The Fitness Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and development of the Fitness Center student staff, Group Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers. This position will be responsible for creating, developing and enforcing policies and procedures of the Fitness Center, coordinating facility reservations, overseeing operations, developing and upholding risk management policies, managing inventory, and marketing programs to engage student participation.
