Current Wellness is seeking an engaging and member-focused Wellness Center Manager to provide full-time oversight of user experience and operations of our inclusive and integrative wellness center. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits including health insurance options, two weeks of paid time off per year, flex time, professional development opportunities, and a complimentary membership for fitness and yoga classes. This position will report 80% to the Co-Owner in charge of People and Programming and 20% to the Co-Owner in charge of Operations and Outreach.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead operations for the wellness center to ensure a welcoming, clean and productive environment for all members, visitors, and staff
• Provide top notch customer service and support to all Current Wellness members, fitness and yoga participants, practitioner members, and visitors through in-person customer service, phone calls, emails and wellness shop open hours
• Supervise 1-3 part-time Wellness Coordinators and interns, as needed
• Assist in social media content creation, weekly newsletter writing, and community outreach events and initiatives
• Support planning of special programs and events
• Support fitness and yoga instructors in class set-up and frontline troubleshooting of technology and facility issues
• Respond to emails, phone calls, texts and direct messages 
• Maintain and oversee cleanliness and tidiness of the space
• Manage the wellness shop and retail offerings, including credit card handling, inventory management, and basic bookkeeping 
• Additional duties as assigned and desired (potentially including teaching classes, developing programs, and/or offering wellness services based on background and interest)

Required Education and Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Recreation, Public Health, Social Work, or other related field.  (If you feel like your degree prepared you for a position like this, please don’t hesitate to apply!)  
• Energy and enthusiasm to engage your interpersonal skills in top-notch customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
• Self-guided initiative to anticipate the needs of fitness and yoga participants, wellness practitioners, and guests of Current Wellness
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work in teams towards productive and efficient task and goal completion
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Confident, proactive and willing to take on challenges

Preferred Education and Experience: 

• Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Public Health, Recreation Leadership, or Related Field
• Previous work experience in customer service, wellness, retail, organizational leadership, or other business contexts
