The Fitness and Recreation Center at the University of Maine at Farmington is now hiring a Coordinator of Operations. This position includes instructing safety courses, has risk management responsibilities, and serves on a team responsible for the day-to-day affairs of our front desk operations.  As an American Red Cross licensed training provider, we provide educational and certification opportunities to support the diverse needs of the campus and the greater community, while providing opportunities for student instructors.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Up to one year of relevant professional experience
• American Red Cross Instructor/Instructor Trainer Certifications in either Basic Life Support and First Aid/CPR/AED or Lifeguarding (current or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Valid Driver’s License (in good standing, based on UMS standards)
