The Ohio State Department of Recreational Sports is seeking candidates for the positions of Graduate Assistant (2025-2026) in the following areas: Competitive Sports, Facility Operations and Student Experience.

Position Information
Facilities
These positions will oversee facility spaces on campus and assist with student staff supervision and facility management. Responsibilities include human resources management, purchasing, facility operations and event management. There will be potential for oversight of indoor and outdoor facilities.
Competitive Sports
This position assists the competitive sports program in managing the intramural sport and sport club programs. The sport club program has 60 sport clubs, with more than 2,400 participants. The intramural sports program offers more than 40 different leagues and events each year, with over 1,800 teams. Responsibilities include managing competitive sports student staff, scheduling intramural sport and sport club competitions and events and serving as the point of contact for sport-clubs.
Student Experience
The Student Experience Graduate Assistant will assist with creating an extraordinary student experience through event planning, staff engagement and supporting students in regard to professional, academic and social development.

Additional Information
Graduate Assistant Stipend
GAs are appointed to 9-month terms and receive approximately $2,480 in a monthly stipend. GAs are expected to serve as a GA for 2 years. Also included are a full tuition waiver (including in/out of state and international). Summer employment may be available but is not guaranteed.
