Berry College's Department of Recreation seeks a dynamic Recreation Coordinator to foster a thriving campus community through intramural sports, club sports, and facility management. As a critical member of the Department of Recreation, the Recreation Coordinator will:
Lead and manage a diverse intramural sports program.
Develop and provide leadership oversight of the club sports program.
Provide facility management of recreational spaces (e.g., fitness maintenance, pickleball and outdoor basketball courts, intramural fields, campsites, and disc golf courses).
Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor student staff through Berry's LifeWorks Program.
Support the Office of Student Involvement's special events (e.g., Marthapalooza, Finals Fest) and other campus events, such as orientation programming, Mountain Day, and Admission events.
Work collaboratively within the Department, Division, and across campus to support the Berry College mission.
The Recreation Coordinator position is a 10-month full-time position with competitive benefits and a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor's degree and demonstrated knowledge and experience working in recreational sports are required. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and be willing to mentor students. The position requires working occasional nights and weekends for meetings and events.
