The Wellness Coordinator has direct supervision of the student peer educator staff and is responsible for daily operations of the Peer Health Education program; organizes, facilitates, and evaluates a variety of health promotion activities for a wide range of campus audiences to improve the overall health and well-being, academic performance, and retention of college students; assists in hiring, training, managing, and evaluating student staff; assists in researching, planning, and developing programs to support campus and community health initiatives; shares responsibility for strategic planning, quality control, achieving learning outcomes, and meeting the goals and objectives of the department, university, and state.
