Paid as an hourly wage with total approximating $6,500 /semester over the 3.5 month period (prorated). The appointee will be paid twice monthly and expected to work no more than 20 hours weekly (with the exception of some university holidays & breaks.) Out of state students will be granted an out of state tuition waiver.

Responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and evaluating all activities associated with the Club Sports Programs including several extramural tournaments. This includes the supervising and mentoring of student employees, scheduling leagues & tournaments. The Graduate Assistant will become acquainted with the procedures and guidelines associated with both University Recreation and Club Sports. Evening and weekend hours will be required around class times.
Duties:
Responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and evaluating all activities associated with the Club and Club Sports Programs including several extramural tournaments.
Supervising and mentoring of student employees, scheduling leagues & tournaments.
Ensuring compliance with all procedures and guidelines associated with both Campus Recreation and Club Sports and Club Sports.
Evening and weekend hours will be required around class times.
Your supervisor will be Competitive Sport coordinator.
Period of Appointment: August 2025 to December 2027 (renewable each semester and/or for an additional year following evaluation and maintaining academic progress and 3.0 or above in the program)
