1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Kinesiology, Health Promotion Recreation, Sports Management, Health and Human Development, or a related field) or a combination of education and or applicable experience.
2. Current certification in CPR, AED and Wilderness First Responder Certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
3. Demonstrate the ability to lead training in field settings over multiple days.
4. Demonstrate experience developing and training staff on management systems for supporting field-based outdoor programs.

1. Master’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Kinesiology, Health Promotion Recreation, Sports Management, Health and Human Development, or a related field) or a combination of education and or applicable experience.
2. Professional experience with outdoor recreation related programming.
3. Certification as an instructor in any of the following outdoor skills such as avalanche education, canoeing, kayak/rafting/swift water rescue, rock/ice climbing, wilderness medicine, mountain biking.
4. Demonstrate supervision experience of student staff.
5. Demonstrated experience training staff on risk management systems for supporting field-based outdoor programs.
6. Demonstrated ability to teach outdoor certification courses i.e., Wilderness Medicine, Climbing Wall Instructor Course, Avalanche Education, Raft Guide or Swiftwater Rescue training.
7. Experience working with Fusion software.
8. Experience working with land management agencies and managing commercial use permits.
