The Ohio State Department of Recreational Sports is seeking candidates for the positions of Graduate Assistant in the following areas: Competitive Sports (3 positions), Indoor Satellite Facility Operations (1 position), and Dunn Sport & Wellness Scholars (1 position).

Competitive Sports (3 positions)
Three graduate administrative associates assist the competitive sports program in managing the intramural sport and sport club programs. The sport club program has 60 sport clubs, with more than 2,400 participants. The intramural sports program offers more than 40 different leagues and events each year, with over 1,800 teams. Approximately 15,000 unique individuals participate during the year. Responsibilities include managing competitive sports student staff, scheduling intramural sport and sport club competitions and events, and serving as the point of contact for 8-10 sport clubs.
Indoor Satellite Facility Operations (1 position)
This position will oversee multiple areas within the operation of the satellite indoor facilities including facility management, student supervision, and event planning. The Indoor Satellites Facility Operations Graduate Assistant will assist in the supervision of approximately 165 student staff, oversee daily operations of four indoor facilities, and assist in operationalizing special events.
Scholars & Student Employment (1 position)
The Scholars & Student Employment Graduate Assistant will assist with co-curricular programming and advising Scholar students in the Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars (DSWS) program, advise Scholar students in regard to professional, academic and social development; assist with the planning and implementing of DSWS programs, which includes some travel, evening and weekend work; attend Honors & Scholars recruitment events; assess Scholars applications; supervise, coach and evaluate three student staff members; and perform administrative duties in support of Scholars.

Additional Stipend Information
GAs are appointed to 9-month terms and receive approximately $2,360 in a monthly stipend. GAs are typically expected to serve as a GA for 2 years. Also included are a full tuition waiver (including in/out of state and international). Summer employment may be available but is not guaranteed.
