The Wellness and Fitness Technician Senior supports the daily operations of MCC’s two Fitness Centers, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users. This role includes overseeing and training part-time employees and student workers, providing excellent customer service, and managing personal training, group fitness, and employee wellness programs. The Wellness and Fitness Technician Senior also assists with the coordination of Physical Education course logistics, including scheduling, space readiness, and faculty support. Additional duties include tracking program participation, maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and managing administrative tasks such as purchasing, budget support and insurance reimbursement documentation. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for all participants.
High School Diploma or GED supplemented by training and/or coursework in exercise physiology, physical fitness or related field and two years of experience performing fitness assessments, developing workout prescriptions and/or circuit training.
