Founded as a non-profit in 2007, the mission of V3 Sports mission is to elevate our community through wellness, fitness
and education. In 2024, V3 Sports opened Phase One of the V3 Center, a 40,000 square foot health and wellness center
that will grow to be a North Minneapolis community asset and a regional destination. The focus of Phase One is to
provide a place for Northside residents of all ages to access water, state of the art fitness equipment, physical
rehabilitation and enjoy healthy and delicious food offerings.
Phase Two, which V3 Sports is actively fundraising for, will be a regional destination for sporting events, career fairs,
community events, and other drivers of economic stability. At the V3 Center, Northside young people and families will
access programming that supports their career and economic aspirations and builds the skills they need to make their
dreams reality.
As a new business, V3 Sports staff work hard to grow and improve our programs. We are a fun and passionate group
fully committed to delivering our big mission. This means that we put in time on evenings and weekends to serve our
community, and this position will share in those responsibilities. We have a lot of work still to do and would love to
welcome another energetic member to our team!
A Typical Day in the Life…
A typical day as V3 Sports’s Aquatic Program Assistant provides an opportunity to serve an essential role in the daily
management of the lesson program, ensuring that participants have a positive experience from the start of the
registration process to the day of their graduation. Responsibilities will include the following:
• Schedule swim lesson staff and coordinate daily lesson logistics.
• Prepare and manage materials needed for swim lessons.
• Communicate with lesson participants and other V3 Sports staff.
• Train swim lesson instructors on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Assist with the expansion of programs and lesson offerings.
• Contribute to the strategic refinement and development of the Swim 2 Learn program.
Who You Are
• You have a minimum of two years of experience in the daily management of youth lesson programs
• Your communication and administrative skills are excellent.
• You possess strong attention to detail.
• You have a passion for youth programming and the desire to create and build within a quickly growing
organization.
• You are able and willing to maintain current CPR, First Aid, AED, and BBP certifications. (For new hires, training
will be provided during onboarding).
