Report to and work collaboratively with the Associate Director for Aquatics to manage all aquatics facilities and programs to meet the demands of the university community, while also promoting our mission. Expected to build, develop, and cultivate relationships with numerous campus constituents. Must stay abreast of local, regional, and national trends in aquatics. This position will provide leadership in hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating dozens of part-time student staff, including developing learning outcomes and assessing their growth. Work collaboratively to ensure that programs and services are appropriately and efficiently available to target audiences. Participate in budget allocation and program outreach efforts. Some evening and weekend work is required.
Bachelor’s degree in areas such as recreation, sport/aquatic management, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a multi-use aquatic facility, supervising programs, staff, and events, preferably in a college setting.
